A creative internship for someone interested in comedy, editing, and storytelling.

We're Inconspicuous Comedy, Copenhagen's English-language improv comedy company. Every Saturday we put on a live show full of unscripted scenes, unexpected turns, and moments that genuinely make people laugh.

Every show is filmed. Most of that footage has never been seen by anyone.

We're looking for someone to change that.

Your job is to watch our recordings, find the moments worth sharing, and turn them into short clips for social media. Clips that work on their own. Clips that land without needing to have been in the room.

This is less about technical editing and more about judgment. What you choose to cut matters more than how you cut it. AI tools like OpusClip are fine as a starting point, but in our experience the tool doesn't know what's funny. You have to.

What you’ll do

• Watch recordings of our live shows

• Identify moments that work as standalone clips

• Edit 2 to 5 clips per show (30 to 150 seconds)

• Add captions and trim for timing so the joke lands

• Deliver clips ready for Instagram and TikTok and YouTube shorts

What we’re looking for

• You're comfortable working in English - all of our shows, communication, and content are in English

• You have some experience with video editing

• You have a strong sense of what's funny

• You watch short-form content and have opinions on what works

• You can work independently and hit deadlines

• You're open to feedback, especially at the start

Language: English

Salary: Unpaid internship

Starting date: As soon as possible

Period: 3-6 months (flexible and non-binding, we’ll find what works best for you)

Location: Remote. We have a studio space in Copenhagen if you'd prefer to work in person occasionally, but most interns work from home, and we meet up when it's useful.

Commitment: Around 4 to 6 hours per week

Tell us a bit about yourself and why you'd like to join Inconspicuous Comedy. If you have examples of your work, include them.

Shortlisted candidates will receive a short task. You'll be given a show recording and asked to find and edit 2 clips you think are funny.

No need to have years of experience. If you have a genuine sense of what's funny, can work independently, and want to build a portfolio doing something most editors never get near, editing live comedy, we'd love to hear from you.
